This update includes releases for the School Insights dashboard, improvements to PEMS and more.
School Insights
The School Insights dashboard now opens using the This Year timeframe by default. This gives users a clearer view of current-year data as soon as the dashboard loads.
PEMS
We have improved the messages shown when a Parents Evening booking cannot be completed. The message now gives a clearer reason, making it easier for users to understand what has happened and what to do next.
Messages
The Sent Message screen has been improved so you can now see when a recipient read a message, rather than only seeing whether it has been read or unread.
Absence Reporting
We have improved the leave of absence process so System and School Administrators can override the absence day limit that applies to parents and carers. This gives administrators more flexibility when managing leave of absence requests on behalf of families.
Bug fixes
Forms

We have fixed an issue where form links were not always working correctly in Form Response Request message templates. The correct recipient name and form link now appear as expected, taking users to the right form.
- We have fixed an issue with conditional field logic where fields were not always enabling or disabling as expected based on answers to other fields. Fields will now behave as configured, including where a disabled field should only become available after a specific answer is selected.
Newsfeed

We have fixed an issue where some embedded YouTube videos in Newsfeed displayed an error instead of opening correctly.
PEMS

We have updated Parent Meetings access for several school roles. Users with the correct permissions should now be able to access the Parent Meetings tile in the ReachMoreParents app as expected.
Group Management

Schools can no longer hide or disable their main school group. This helps prevent core school functionality from being affected accidentally.

We have fixed an issue that could affect performance when using dynamic groups based on This Academic Year. Dynamic group checks now run more efficiently.
Parent Portal

We have fixed an issue that affected how academic years were displayed in some date period filters. Academic years now appear in the correct order, allowing behaviour points and related information to display correctly.
Meal Manager

We have fixed an issue where the absence filter in Meals Reporting did not always return the correct users for the selected date range. The filter now works as expected for present and absent pupils.
Absence Reporting

We identified an issue where absences starting at the same time as a school session, for example 08:00, were not always matching to the correct session in Wonde. We have updated this so the correct session is found and the absence can be written back successfully.
User Profiles

We have fixed an issue where changes to "Opt out of SMS" and "Opt out of Email" settings were not always being saved when updated in the app. These preferences now save correctly when a user’s profile is edited.
Reporting
- We have updated the default reporting period used in schools where academic years are set up. Where an academic year exists, the system now defaults to the current academic year. Where no academic year is available, it continues to default to the last three months.
