About our Customer

St Botolph's Church of England Primary School, located in Shepshed, serves 366 pupils with the ethos 'New day...endless possibilities'. The school nurtures positive relationships within the school and wider community and works closely in partnership with parents/carers to encourage a close liaison between home and school.

The Challenge

Before adopting a modern communication platform, St Botolph's Church of England Primary School relied on traditional paper letters and parent text messages. While these methods were fairly effective at the time, they presented challenges: paper communications were slow, resource-intensive, and not always the most efficient way to keep parents informed, especially in urgent situations. Additionally, the school struggled to ensure that messages were received by the right parents, resulting in missed communications and reduced engagement.

The Solution

After seeing a demonstration on site, the school decided to implement ReachMoreParents by Weduc. The setup was straightforward, and the onboarding process was very supportive, helping staff get comfortable with the new system quickly. Key features that made an immediate impact included:

  • Targeted parent messaging, enabling staff to communicate directly with relevant groups.
  • The ability to share non-urgent information via Notices.
  • Easy access for parents to term dates, school menus and other key documents in the Hub.
  • New tools for managing parent events and evening bookings, which the school hopes will simplify processes in the future.

Staff have found the system very easy to use on a day-to-day basis, and parents are now regularly engaged through the app.

"ReachMoreParents is an excellent product with a super easy setup, friendly service, with a great support team that’s always there for both staff and parents. The online chat is always great at resolving issues quickly." Jane Small, Office Manager
